McLean, VA., July 1, 2016 – Heartland Consulting, a leading 8(a) provider of technology and management consulting services and solutions to government and commercial clients, was awarded a prime contract for Navy SeaPort Enhanced or SeaPort-e. SeaPort-e is the Navy’s contracting platform for acquiring support services in twenty-two functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, and the United States Marine Corps compete their service requirements amongst SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders. The contract includes all seven SeaPort-e zones. Since 2009, the Seaport-e vehicle has a total reported spending of over $35B.
