Washington DC – Heartland Consulting has been awarded a contract with the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) to assist the nationwide effort of enrollment and activation of employee credentials in accordance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12: Policy for a Common Identification Standard for Federal Employees and Contractors. This work will assist FSIS in facilitating Food Safety Inspectors to obtain LincPass credentials to access facilities nationwide and immediately begin work requirements. Food Safety Inspectors are critical for assessing the sanitary conditions and quality of food products going to market.
