Washington D.C.- Heartland Consulting is pleased to announce their new contract to provide continuity of operations (COOP) program support and services for The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG). Heartland looks forward to working with the OIG in support of their COOP efforts. Heartland has previously completed extensive work with COOP support for various government agencies, including CMS.
Through development and execution of a COOP program, Heartland is able to assist an agency in preparing for an unforeseen incident. Emergency preparedness and personnel security is a key component to any government entity. Heartland understands the critical importance of being able to continue operations in all circumstances and the vital role of this planning to our entire nation.
“We are pleased to once again be involved in the updating and implementation of emergency preparedness operations”, said Heartland CEO John English. “Prevention, protection, response, and recovery procedures are key components to our COOP work with the government and we look forward to partnering with HHS OIG.”
