Washington D.C. – Heartland Consulting has been awarded a contract by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to support the Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response Operations (EPRO). Emergency Management and Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning is a vital component to ensure that CMS can ultimately service millions of beneficiaries across our nation.

Heartland has extensive experience providing Emergency Management and COOP support to federal departments and agencies. The in-depth knowledge Heartland will bring to this contract will serve as a value-added resource for successful execution of the CMS EPRO mission. Heartland will provide a wide range of support services and subject matter expertise to assist the agency with the enhancement of emergency preparedness and response capabilities, and alignment of the CMS COOP Program.
