Beltsville, MD – Heartland Consulting is pleased to announce a task order award with the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Agricultural Library (NAL). Heartland will provide the NAL with highly skilled search and indexing engineers with Solr and Elasticsearch skills. Heartland assists with the design and implementation of sophisticated data input vehicles, performance improvement, and optimization. By completing these tasks, Heartland has facilitated the NAL’s effort to comply with the White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy’s memorandum to make federally funded research more accessible to the public.
