Washington DC –Heartland Consulting will provide Continuity of Operations (COOP) Support to the Office of Security and Emergency Management (OSEM) within the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

FDA is transforming and modernizing practices to further evolve its COOP program. The FDA protects the public health through safety, effectiveness, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, medical devices, ensuring the safety of food, cosmetics, radiation emitting products and regulation of tobacco products while protecting FDA personnel, facilities and information.

Heartland Consulting will provide continuity support services to OSEM specializing in business process reengineering, continuity of operations expertise, and multi-agency communication strategy and tactics. Heartland will support teams at all echelons—from transference of authority and improving continuity of operations existing plans, to development of checklists, policies, procedures, testing, training, and implementation strategies.
