Washington D.C. – Heartland Consulting is pleased to work with Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) to deliver technical project oversight at their Folsom, California regional office. Heartland will oversee construction projects and provide technical assistance with the installation of new equipment. WAPA conducts maintenance and engineering services, power sales, and transmission operations at their 51 duty stations.

The nation’s energy landscape is constantly changing and Heartland is pleased to be working again with the electric power industry. The services provided by WAPA are critical to many Native American tribes, rural electric cooperatives, cities and towns, irrigation districts, and public utilities. Heartland Consulting will be collaborating closely with the Sierra Nevada Regional Office team and providing highly technical expertise to help lead the way in emerging technologies within the industry.

“Heartland looks forward to helping WAPA bring reliable power to millions of citizens in central and western United States”, said Heartland CEO John English. “We look forward to using our expertise to create innovative solutions to support WAPA’s vital mission of keeping the lights on for millions of Americans.”
