McLean, VA – The Heartland-Energetics Joint Venture announced today that it has been selected by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as an awardee for the agency’s Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Small Business IT Services/Solutions Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The contract, administered by NIH’s Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC), is a 10-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a $20 billion ceiling available for use by any Federal civilian or Department of Defense agency. The contract’s focus is on health and biomedical-related IT Services, and can be used for acquisitions across a broad base of functional areas.
Heartland Consulting will provide services required to implement complex IT solutions in the Federal sector. Heartland is eligible to compete for task orders in 10 functional areas including IT Services for Biomedical Research, Health Sciences, and Healthcare; Chief Information Officer (CIO) Support; Imaging; Outsourcing; IT Operations and Maintenance; Integration Services; Critical Infrastructure Protection and Information Assurance; Digital Government; Enterprise Resource Planning; and Software Development.
