WASHINGTON, D.C. – Heartland Consulting has been awarded a contract to provide physical security assessment and project management support to The Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS). FWS, an agency within the Department of the Interior, is focused on enhancing security and implementing a strategic framework that balances the need to improve its security posture with the need to maintain a pleasant atmosphere for the visiting public. Heartland will provide physical security expertise across all FWS programs, and facilitate the implementation of a strategic security framework. In addition, Heartland will develop a physical security assessment program for all FWS facilities, and provide policy support. With this award, Heartland now supports 16 federal agencies and departments with their important missions.
“Heartland is very pleased to perform this work. We look forward to fully supporting the needs of FWS over a wide range of missions, and continuing to expand our range of physical security support services,” said John English, CEO of Heartland Consulting.
