McLean, VA – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) awarded a contract to Heartland Consulting to support the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Associate Chief Financial Officer Shared Services (ACFO-SS), Pegasys Financial Services (PFS). Heartland will provide accounting and program administration support to the Financial Information and Operations Division (FIOD) and the Financial Services Division (FSD).
Pegasys Financial Services, Financial Information and Operations Division and the Financial Services Division within the USDA manage a variety of Shared Services such as Momentum Financials®, Pegasys and Multi-tenant Shared Applications to maximize financial, budgeting and acquisition efficiencies. Shared Services benefit dozens of external clients improving efficiencies and reducing government ownership costs. Current customers include the General Services Administration (GSA) along with small agencies, boards and Presidential Commissions.
With this contract award, Heartland will offer its renowned customer service capabilities via non-personal services while augmenting the government’s capacity to process customer financial transactions. Additionally, Heartland will provide specialized services in project management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, documentation, reconciliation, and reporting services. This award to Heartland supports the USDA strategic goal to become the “most customer-focused department in the federal government.”
