Heartland Consulting has been awarded a contract to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) within the U.S. Department of Defense. Heartland will provide audit readiness support to the Defense Health Program (DHP) Enterprise Wide Financial Statement Reporting Entities (FSREs), including DHA-Financial Operations Division (DHA-FOD); DHA-Contract Resource Management (DHA-CRM); Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS); Service Medical Activities (SMA); SMA –Army, SMA-Navy, SMA-Air Force, and National Capital Region Medical Directorate (NCR-MD) and Medicare-Eligible Retiree Health Care Fund (MERHCF). “Our team is very excited to extend our suite of accounting  and audit support services to the Department of Defense, and we look forward to a productive and results-driven partnership,” stated Heartland’s Chief Executive Officer, John English.
