National Guard Bureau

Heartland is proud to support the National Guard Bureau’s, Office of the Joint Surgeon (NGB-JSG) where we deliver Program Analysis support and assist NGB-JSG in furthering their mission to “develop, coordinate, communicate and implement National Guard medical policies, procedures and operational responses in collaboration with state and federal interagency and international medical partners, and to develop and coordinate guidance for medical operations.”

Heartland works with NGB-JSG supporting comprehensive readiness reporting, and provides recommendations to heighten individual and department-wide unit readiness. Heartland assures and certifies that funding is properly allocated to maximize readiness within units and among appropriate unit personnel.
