Washington DC – Heartland Consulting has been awarded its first task order on General Services Administration (GSA) One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS). The U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters, Office of Requirements and Analysis (CG-771) and Office of Aviation Forces (CG-711) selected Heartland to support the Joint Requirements Council in the management and maintenance of cross directorate collaborative efforts.

The Joint Requirements Council is an executive level body within the Department of Homeland Security where the U.S. Coast Guard holds a critical responsibility as a gatekeeper within the Joint Requirements Integration and Management System. This responsibility requires leveraging opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness, while advancing the goals and objectives of operational efficiency through an organized component driven process.

Heartland Consulting was selected by the Coast Guard and will support the execution of  Program and Project Management tasks aligned with managing complex interagency agreements and several long-term projects to recapitalize the Coast Guard’s ageing assets along with the procurement of emerging technology.

“As the Nation’s maritime challenges become more complex, interagency collaboration and cooperation is critical in expansion of core capabilities resulting in overall mission success”, said Heartland Consulting’s Chief Executive Officer, John English. “The Coast Guard is embarking on an ambitious but necessary endeavor to maximize readiness by transforming its operations while streamlining efficiencies. Heartland Consulting has the expertise needed to integrate resources creating a clear framework necessary to meet the strategic vision of supporting capabilities and strengthening performance today–leading to the safe and effective execution of missions tomorrow.”
