Washington D.C. – Continuing our long-standing relationship with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Heartland Consulting will provide a spectrum of financial and business support services to the Office of Rural Development and Chief Financial Officer.
USDA Rural Development is committed to helping improve the economy and quality of life in rural America. Through various programs, rural Americans benefit from loans, grants, and loan guarantees to help create jobs and support economic development and essential services. Economic growth is supported through loans given to businesses through banks, credit unions, and community-managed lending pools.
Heartland will perform financial advisory, audit, accounting, risk assessment, and program management to support the Rural Development Housing Voucher Program. This work is critical to allow USDA to continue to provide improvement initiatives and affordable housing opportunities to those in need.
“The empowerment of disadvantaged Americans has always remained a cornerstone of USDA’s mission. I am proud Heartland will be contributing to the vital work of USDA Rural Development and their efforts to improve the way of life in rural America,” said John English, CEO, Heartland Consulting.
