The U.S. Department of the Navy has awarded Heartland Consulting a contract to support the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) in processing the Navy’s global utility invoices representing $1.2 billion in annual utility spending. Heartland is responsible for the overall project management, business process design, optimization and meeting all the required quality and performance metrics. This contract is a performance-based contract requiring 90% accuracy and a one business day turnaround in processing all transactions. The Heartland Team over the course of the past three years, has achieved 98.7% accuracy and continues to meet a 24-hour turnaround on all incoming transactions. Heartland is committed to continuing the successful partnership that has already been established with the US Navy and looking forward to supporting NAVFAC on this new contract. The contract has a ceiling value of $2.9M over multiple years.
