Washington D.C. – Heartland Consulting is excited to announce it will once again support the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). Heartland will provide a full spectrum of auditing and validation of costs and services incurred to the Financial Shared Services, Financial Management Services, Pegasys Financial Services, and National Finance Center received through the Client Experience Center.
The Chief Financial Officer serves as the principal advisor to the Secretary and Senior Officials on all matters related to financial management, financial management systems, financial control and accounting, internal control and assessment, and financial management training. In addition, the OCFO is responsible for the financial leadership of an enterprise with more than 100,000 employees, 14,000 offices and field locations, $208 billion in assets, and $143 billion in annual spending.
